My work is an act of excavation. I create to uncover the self that exists beneath layers of memory, displacement, and adaptation—where past and present continually fold into one another.

Having experienced early rupture through war and migration, I approach identity as something fluid, assembled, and perpetually in process. I am drawn to abstraction, symbolism, and dream imagery as tools for accessing what cannot be articulated directly. These visual languages allow emotional relationships, subconscious symbols, and atmospheric impressions to surface without needing resolution.

I work primarily across paper and digital media, treating each surface as a malleable field—responsive, provisional, and alive. Color functions as emotional register; form emerges intuitively, often before meaning fully reveals itself. The process mirrors my inner landscape: nonlinear, recursive, and shaped by both fracture and continuity.

While my broader creative career has been rooted in large-scale production and collaborative environments, my studio practice remains deeply personal and introspective. It is a space where control loosens and intuition leads. Through this work, I am less interested in answers than in resonance—creating images that invite viewers to encounter their own interior worlds, and to recognize themselves within the unfinished, evolving nature of being.
