PRODUCTION DESIGN + SET DECORATION

Patchwork Girl is a concept short film written and directed by Masha Sokolova. Inspired by Frank Baum’s Patchwork Girl, it follows the title character on her twisted quest to fix a social media influencer’s insecurities with patchwork.

As production designer and set decorator, I wanted the space to reflect the inner world of the Patchwork Girl, to show the madness in her mind. Every object, thread, page, and detail in this set design lets us into the inner world of the Patchwork Girls twisted psyche.
